Always stay online and avoid data loss
An APC Smart-UPS On-Line always provides perfectly clean power to all connected equipment thanks to its double conversion technology. Even power outages have no influence on this point. The APC Smart-UPS On-Line then automatically provides backup power without having to switch. This way, you avoid unwanted outages, for example, of a PC, server, storage, or switch. With the included Powershute Network Shutdown software, you can even shut down critical IT hardware in an automated and controlled manner. This prevents data loss, downtime, and physical damage to the hardware.

Extend runtime
You can easily increase the number of minutes that the APC SRT5KRMXLI can independently provide backup power by connecting external battery packs (SRT192RMBP). A runtime of several hours is even possible.

Availability
The Smart-UPS On-Line features an internal bypass and uses double conversion, maximizing the availability and lifespan of connected hardware. This also makes the UPS compatible with a backup power generator. The double conversion technology ensures clean and uninterrupted power to protected equipment, even when the generator power is used.

Safety
Additionally, a Smart-UPS On-Line protects connected devices against voltage spikes caused, among other things, by lightning. This APC backup power supply is ideal for professional use.

Rack mounting
The APC Smart-UPS SRT is easy to use in the rack thanks to a tiltable graphical LCD screen. With the included 4-post rail kit, you can easily mount the UPS in a rack.

Manage your Smart-UPS
Thanks to the built-in network card, you can easily connect the APC UPS to the network. This way, you can monitor and manage the UPS remotely (SNMP) and the UPS can send a shutdown signal to multiple physical and/or virtual servers using the PowerChute Network Shutdown software.

PowerChute Network Shutdown
PowerChute Network Shutdown is UPS management software that works with the UPS network management card to protect Windows, Linux, and Host ESXi, as well as hyper-converged and virtual infrastructure*. In the event of a power outage, PowerChute can properly shut down your virtual machines, and the preconfigured startup sequence ensures their reactivation.

Remote management and monitoring of your network
The network card can be managed remotely via the easy-to-use web browser interface, the EcoStruxure™ IT remote management software (SFTWES1-DIGI), or another SNMP-compatible system. EcoStruxure™ IT also includes the features of the support contract below.

The optional network card support contract license* ensures that you are always up to date and secure and includes additional benefits such as frequent updates with:

Extend lifespan
The internal battery cartridge (APCRBC140) can be easily, safely, and independently replaced by the user. This can be done without having to turn off the APC SRT5KRMXLI or the connected equipment. This way, you can easily and cost-effectively extend the lifespan of the APC Smart-UPS, and your equipment remains always online.

Warranty extension
The manufacturer's warranty for the SRT5KRMXLI is 3 years, except for the battery cartridge, which has a 2-year manufacturer's warranty. Both are extended by 3 years to 6 and 5 years respectively with the APC service pack (WBEXTWAR3YR-SP-05).

Maximize availability
Or instead of extending the warranty, opt for the even more comprehensive 5-year monitoring and dispatch service (WMD5YOSNBD-SP-05) to maximize the availability of your APC UPS. In addition to a 5-year warranty, it also includes 24/7 remote monitoring via the Schneider Electric Connected Services Hub and on-site repair service from SE (replacement parts, labor, installation, and intervention costs).

Switched outlet groups: remote restart and staggered startup
With switched outlet groups, it is possible to configure a staggered/delayed power-up by UPS outlet group. This reduces the peak load on the UPS and brings it closer to the constant load, limiting UPS over-sizing.

It is also possible to reset a group of multiple UPS outputs and the equipment connected to them. If a network card (ap9640) is used in combination with EcoStruxure IT Expert (SFTWES1-DIGI), this can even be done remotely.

You can also eliminate non-critical loads; this way, you extend the runtime of critical equipment.
