With its slow scanning mode (a market first)1 designed for scanning crumpled or fragile documents, scanning delicate media has never been easier. The active separation roller system prevents the tedious phenomenon of double feeding from occurring and ensures that each sheet of paper is correctly scanned. The Double Feed Detection Disable function allows you to scan difficult media, such as envelopes or documents with labels. The automatic scanning mode enables the processing of a large number of documents by breaking them down into more manageable quantities to produce a single file.

Great versatility
The optional Flatbed Scanner kit allows for efficient processing of documents, whether they are stamps, books, family booklets, or passports. The duplex scanning in a single pass ensures quick processing of documents. It is also possible to scan a wide range of media, from very thin paper of 27 g/m² to rigid documents of 413 g/m². The protective sleeve allows for scanning an A3 document folded in half, with the image digitally reassembled.

Extensive connectivity
The USB 3.0 Super-Speed port combined with TWAIN, WIA, and ISIS drivers ensures improved compatibility with document management systems.

Document management and image enhancement software
Epson Scan 2 software makes image editing easy with features such as automatic straightening and rotation. Document Capture Pro is the user-friendly solution for capturing and storing electronic documents at the touch of a button.
