With a 100-page Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), a scanning speed of 65 ppm or 130 ipm, and automatic feeding mode scanning, the WorkForce DS-870 allows for quick and efficient processing of large document volumes. It also features a high-speed USB 3.0 port for fast data transfer with TWAIN, WIA, and ISIS drivers for better compatibility with document management systems.

Efficient Document Handling
Users need not worry about the diversity of documents to be scanned: the model offers support for the widest range of Epson media, from 27 g/m² to 413 g/m², and a long document scanning mode that can handle documents up to 6,096 mm in length. The slow mode reduces document friction by decreasing roller speed, making it easier to capture fragile or damaged documents without increasing file size. The active separation roller system prevents the tedious double feeding phenomenon and ensures that each sheet of paper is scanned. Additionally, the Double Feed Detection Disable function allows you to scan challenging media, such as envelopes or documents with labels.

Image Enhancement and Document Management Software
Epson Scan 2 software makes image editing easy with features such as automatic straightening and rotation. Document Capture Pro is the user-friendly solution for capturing and storing electronic documents at the touch of a button.
