IP extenders provide reliable extension of HDMI® signals over a network connection, allowing point-to-point and mixed configurations when combined with network equipment such as switches. Using IP connectivity ensures a cost-effective and scalable extension solution that can be easily set up for a variety of small or large-scale scenarios.

The Lindy HDMI® & IR over IP receiver is a complementary solution for extending HDMI® signals over greater distances via a local network setup and creating scalable IP installations using multiple receivers when combined with the 38398 and network equipment. As a point-to-point connection, the extender supports distances of up to 150m using a Cat.6 cable, or when combined with a network switch, it can be extended for much larger distribution systems with up to 3 layers of network equipment. Adding receivers offers additional flexibility to the setup for distributing content to various remote locations or screens, ideal for use in retail, connected office installations, or educational setups.

Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8bit, this extension provides high-quality content, perfect for engaging digital signage, residential installations, or AV distribution in the hospitality sector. The IR extension also allows for simple control via an included IR transmitter and receiver cable, using an IR remote control.

Please note: Use a dedicated network specifically for larger installations. The HDMI® over IP extender distributes full 1080p resolution using H.265 video compression.
