The HDMI® 10.2G & IR Cat.6 70m extender is a user-friendly solution that allows the user to extend HDMI® signals up to 70m using a single low-cost U/UTP Cat.6 cable (not included). For added convenience, IR signals (20-60 kHz) can also be extended using the provided IR transmitter and receiver cables.

Supporting 4K resolutions up to 3840x2160@30Hz 4:4:4 8bit, video content can be viewed with incredible clarity at distances of up to 70m, perfect for use in a variety of AV applications and digital signage in a range of environments, including residential installations, education, business, retail, and healthcare.

This extender features a loop HDMI® port on the transmitter for simultaneous local viewing, allowing a local screen to be connected for monitoring or to create an additional viewing area. To ensure maximum compatibility when two screens are connected, the EDID data, which determines the supported video and audio formats, can be copied from the local screen connected to the transmitter or the remote screen connected to the receiver.

The Power over Cable (PoC) feature allows the extender to operate from a single power supply connected to the transmitter, enabling the receiver to be placed in a location where access to power outlets is limited, making it the ideal tool for minimalist and discreet installations.
In addition to the PoC functionality, the compact design of the extender allows for easier installation in tight spaces behind flat screens or televisions.

Note: The indicated lengths and resolutions are possible with a direct connection between the transmitter and receiver using a good quality single-strand Cat.6 cable. Using a different type of cable or introducing wall plates, couplers, or patch panels may reduce possible distances.
