IP extenders provide reliable extension of HDMI® signals over a network connection, allowing point-to-point and mixed configurations when combined with network equipment such as switches. Using IP connectivity ensures a cost-effective and scalable extension solution that can be easily set up for a variety of small or large-scale scenarios.

The Lindy HDMI® & IR over IP extender is a complete and economical solution for extending HDMI® signals over long distances via a local network. As a point-to-point connection, the extender supports distances of up to 150m using a Cat.6 cable, or when combined with a network switch, it can be extended for much larger distribution systems with up to 3 layers of network equipment.

Adding additional receivers (38399) offers extra flexibility for content distribution in various locations or on remote screens, making it ideal for use in retail, connected office installations, or educational institutions.

Supporting resolutions up to Full HD 1920x1080@60Hz 4:4:4 8 bits, this extension provides high-quality content, perfect for digital signage, high-end residential installations, or audiovisual distribution in the hospitality sector. The IR extension also allows for simple control via an included IR emitter and receiver cable, using an IR remote control.

Please note: Use a dedicated network specifically for larger installations. The HDMI® over IP extender distributes in full 1080p resolution using H.265 video compression.
