The DCS-5222L is a Cloud camera with Pan/Tilt/Zoom functionality that can serve as a versatile surveillance solution in a home or office. Unlike traditional webcams, it can transmit and record sound and high-definition (HD) images even in total darkness, thanks to its built-in infrared indicators. With mydlink™ Cloud services, you can access and manage your camera remotely through the mydlink™ apps available for iPhone®, iPad®, and Android™.

The mydlink™ Cloud service allows you to access your camera anytime, anywhere, without complex deployment: you can set up and get your camera running in just a few minutes with the help of the detailed guide if needed. Then, you connect to the website to create a mydlink™ account that will allow you to view and manage your camera's videos from any internet-connected computer. Do you have multiple cameras? It's just as simple! You can add them to your mydlink™ account in a few clicks and view the recorded videos from different devices on the same screen.

You can easily access your cameras while on the go: with the mydlink™ app for iPhone®, iPad®, or Android™, a Wi-Fi or 3G connection is all you need to view the recordings. This way, you can keep an eye on things wherever you go, even without a computer.

Extensive Coverage and Protection
With its Pan/Tilt function that allows it to sweep 340° across the room it is in, this home camera is an advanced surveillance solution perfect at any time of day or night. To control this function, you can use the mydlink™ portal, the included remote control, or the mydlink™ app. You can also set the camera to automatically position itself at certain angles to expand the monitored area.

Night Vision
The camera is equipped with built-in infrared indicators for constant monitoring, even in complete darkness. Its five-meter illumination range allows you to monitor what matters most to you, whether it's your baby's room or your office at night.

A Complete Surveillance System
The camera, usable in Cloud mode, is equipped with a microSD card slot that allows for direct recording of sound and video onto the device. No need to turn on a computer! The intuitive web interface offers two setup options: recording can start only when the camera detects motion, or continue continuously. If the microSD card is full, the oldest recordings are deleted. Then, the recorded videos are viewable directly on the mydlink™ portal, anytime and from anywhere the user is located.

The built-in PIR sensor detects motion and triggers email alerts. An additional sensor, connected to a door or window, can be linked to the standard I/O port. The user interface allows for easy configuration of these various functions, making this camera a complete home surveillance system.
