The Lindy USB 3.0 Active extension uses built-in electronics that allow you to extend a USB 3.0 device by 5m while maintaining transfer rates up to 5 Gbit/s. Up to 2 extensions can be chained.

The cable is powered via the USB bus. High-power devices require a specific power supply.

The active USB 3.0 extension is compatible with any computer equipped with USB type A. It is perfect for use with cameras, in conference rooms, and other videoconferencing scenarios.

Please note that the length of the passive USB cable, which is connected to the USB device, is limited to 2 meters.

PCs, cables, USB 3.0, USB 3.1, and USB 3.2 devices are all compatible with each other, using a USB source (USB host) with USB type A or USB type C interface. The USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Gen 1, and USB 3.2 Gen 1 standards all support speeds of up to 5 Gbit/s. The USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 3.2 Gen 2 standards support speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s.
