The DisplayPort® to HDMI® DP2HDMIADAP adapter provides a male DisplayPort connector and a female HDMI connector, allowing you to keep your existing HDMI screen while using a DisplayPort video card/source.
Supporting a screen resolution of up to 1920 x 1200 (computer)/1080p (HDTV), this cost-effective solution preserves the incredible graphical performance offered by DisplayPort, while avoiding the costs associated with purchasing a display with integrated DisplayPort instead of your HDMI-compatible screen.
The DP2HDMIADAP is a passive adapter cable that requires a DP++ (DisplayPort++) port, meaning that DVI and HDMI signals can also be transmitted through the port.
This adapter allows audio transmission if the video source supports it. Please consult the video source manual to verify support.
