The FTDI USB to serial null modem adapter cable (1 port) ICUSB232FTN converts a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port into a RS232 DB9 null modem serial port, directly resolving DCE/DTE conflicts without the need for additional crossover serial cables or adapters.
This compact adapter offers communication port memory, allowing the COM port value to be automatically reassigned to the port if the cable is disconnected and then reconnected to the host computer, or if the system is restarted. The integrated FTDI chipset supports additional customization, advanced features, and compatibility often lacking with other solutions.
