The HDMI® to VGA adapter cable HD2VGAA2 allows you to connect a device producing an HDMI signal, such as a laptop video output or a digital multimedia extender, to a VGA display device (monitor, projector) by converting the HDMI video signal from the output device into a VGA signal and a separate 2-channel analog audio signal. The HDMI to VGA adapter is designed to display user-generated content; such as presentations, documents, and worksheets, on a projector or VGA screen. The adapter can also be used to extend your computer's desktop to double your workspace and increase your productivity.

The versatile converter supports various resolutions, including high definition 1080p. Thus, you do not need to change your VGA screen for compatibility issues. This HDMI adapter does not require an additional power source in standard applications, for a simpler and faster installation. Additionally, you can easily obtain more power using a micro-USB cable if your video source has a low-power HDMI port.
