The USB to RS232 serial adapter cable with FTDI chipset and communication port memory converts a USB 1.1 or 2.0 port into a DB9 RS232 serial port to connect, monitor, and control your serial devices.
This compact adapter offers communication port memory, allowing the same COM port value to be automatically reassigned to the port if the cable is disconnected and then reconnected to the host computer or if the system is restarted. The ICUSB2321F uses the FTDI chipset which supports additional customization, advanced features, and compatibility often lacking with other solutions.
Compatibility with a wide range of operating systems; including Windows®, Windows CE, Mac OS, and Linux, facilitates the integration of this product into mixed environments.
