The 'Audio Return Channel' function allows you to connect an HDMI TV with a built-in tuner to send the audio signal ''upstream'' to a surround system, thus avoiding the need to connect a separate audio cable.

The 'Extended Color Spaces Support' function allows compatibility with models other than Deep color:
sYCC601, Adobe RGB, Adobe YCC60, x.v.Color.
