Allows the installation of low-profile/half-height PCI interface cards in a standard PCI Express expansion slot. This PCIe to PCI adapter card enables the use of low-profile expansion cards without a PCI Express motherboard slot in a server or desktop computer. Compliant with PCI Express 1.0a specifications and PCI 2.2 specifications, the adapter card connects via a PCIe 1x slot, providing a low-profile PCI slot instead. A full-length bracket for a PCI Express card is also included for use in larger PCI Express slots of a desktop or server. A versatile solution, the adapter card allows for conversion from PCIe to PCI or PCI-X; an integrated LP4 power connector allows the card to connect to the computer's power supply, enabling the installation of universal voltage PCI cards (3.3V/5V). The adapter card offers a cost-effective solution that allows you to continue using older or additional PCI bus cards in newer PCIe-compatible systems.
